I'm officially a doctoral student now. I just completed my one week of orientation and start my first class on communication today. Not looking forward to the homework or the extended class weeks but am praying that I enjoy the learning and development of my thoughts and new processes. The beginning is always the most difficult and I am glad to start marking off the days. Started at 1,095 days (three year program) and already down to 1,088. I don't know why but I get great satisfaction from marking things off and seeing things decrease. It makes me feel like I am making progress.
My mom is so cute. For my birthday she wrote on the outside of the envelope "Dr. Heidi Sanders, wie klingt das?" It sounded pretty great.
